Sales Professional

You will:

  • Be goal driven! Work with existing business customers (B2B) and prospect to create new account opportunities to reach your personal and professional financial goals (with no cap on commissions — the sky’s the limit!)
  • Be creative! Use your imagination to develop lead generating strategies through cold calling, appointment setting and territory planning
  • Market the latest technology! Present the very latest in office technology to management level buyers
  • Form long-term relationships to grow your account base! As the account executive, build your base of business (and build your commission stream for years to come!)

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Strong desire to enhance your sales career
  • Prior technology sales experience (retail, B2B, telephone)
  • Internal drive to do well and be successful with a strong work ethic to make it happen
  • Work in person (not remote) within the Greater Springfield area
  • Ability or strong desire to learn to get past gatekeepers to gain access to decision makers
  • Natural ability to negotiate
  • Strong analytical and math skills and ability to apply “on the fly”
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to ask questions, truly listen and observe unspoken messages to fully understand client needs
  • An affinity for technology and the ability to show how it can help local businesses achieve their goals, take care of their customers, and help their employees be more productive.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and web products
  • CRM experience a plus

Service & Warehouse Coordinator

The Company

Business Equipment Company (BEC) is a 50-year-old, local family-owned company in Springfield, Ohio. BEC sells modern office productivity enhancement tools including furnishings, supplies, and digital imaging products in a 10-county area. In addition, BEC provides comprehensive sales, service and support for digital imaging devices such as copiers, multifunction devices and printers.

The Opportunity

Our company is looking for a reliable Dispatcher and Warehouse Coordinator to help create service and delivery routes that keep costs down while meeting customer scheduling needs. The incumbent will be responsible for using the latest service software to establish daily and weekly routes that deliver the service committed in customer contracts. The successful candidate for this position needs to be able to adjust to last minute changes and work with the service and installation teams to schedule routine and emergency service or delivery for new and established clients when necessary.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of planning, scheduling, and service best practices. You should also be able to interpret operational metrics and be goal-oriented. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth service team operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop daily and weekly service and delivery routes and maintain contact with service team throughout the day,
  • Collaborate with management to modify daily schedule to accommodate the needs of the customers,
  • Act as a communication liaison and answer incoming phone calls from customers and technicians in the field,
  • Assure supplier deliveries are inspected, received, and put away in a orderly and timely manner,
  • Cultivate strong relationships with technicians and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes,
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for supplier and customer orders, delivery statuses, and relevant problems,
  • Review pending orders and specific customers’ requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience,
  • Suggest service and delivery process improvements.
  • Be onsite for installations and deliveries when necessary.

 

Requirements

  • High school/diploma required
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area
  • Strong computer skills including hands on experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Teamwork and motivational skills
